Folding process flow of electrostatic spraying
1. Pretreatment:
Purpose: To remove oil, dust, and rust from the surface of the workpiece, and create a "phosphating layer" on the surface of the workpiece that is resistant to corrosion and can increase the adhesion of the sprayed coating.
Main process steps: oil removal, rust removal, phosphating, passivation. After pre-treatment, the surface of the workpiece is not only free of oil, rust, and dust, but also a uniform and rough gray phosphating film that is not easy to rust is formed on the original silver white glossy surface, which can not only prevent rust but also increase the adhesion of the spray layer.
2. Electrostatic spraying
Purpose: To evenly spray powder coating onto the surface of the workpiece, special workpieces (including locations prone to electrostatic shielding) should be sprayed using high-performance electrostatic spray molding machines.
Process Steps:
Using the principle of electrostatic adsorption, evenly spray a layer of powder coating on the surface of the workpiece;
The fallen powder is recycled through a recovery system and can be reused after screening.
3. High temperature curing
Purpose: To heat the powder coating on the surface of the workpiece to a specified temperature and hold it for a corresponding time to melt, level, and solidify it, thereby obtaining the desired surface effect of the workpiece.
Process steps: Push the sprayed workpiece into the curing furnace, heat it to a predetermined temperature (typically 185 degrees Celsius), and hold it for a corresponding time (15 minutes); Open the furnace and take it out for cooling to obtain the finished product. Generally, the heating temperature and holding time vary depending on the workpiece.
Prompt: Heating and control system (including various heating methods such as electric heating, fuel oil, gas, coal, etc.)+insulation box=curing furnace.
4. Discharging cooling
Outgoing cooling is a process of cooling the results of the spray molding process to return to normal temperature.
5. Decorative treatment
Purpose: To achieve a special appearance effect for the workpiece after electrostatic spraying, such as various wood grains, patterns, and highlights.
Process steps: cover light; Transfer printing and other processing processes.
