Amazon employees recently created an internal Slack channel, calling on Amazon executives to continue to support telecommuting. At the same time, they also jointly petitioned Amazon CEO Andy Jesse, hoping that the executives could give up the previous request to return to the office.
It is reported that Amazon employees created this internal Slack channel shortly after Jasi released a memorandum last week and shared their concerns about the return to the office policy. As of Tuesday morning local time, about 14000 employees have joined the channel.
Employees hope that the leadership can give up the policy of letting employees return to the office, which is contrary to Amazon's position of becoming "the best employer on earth".
On February 20, Amazon requested employees to work in the office at least three days a week, and canceled the previous policy that senior managers should decide such work.
In a memo to employees posted on Amazon's blog by Amazon CEO Andy Jassy, the regulation will take effect on May 1.
Yaxi said that there would be exceptions, including some sales and customer support work, but that would be a small part.

These SK-300 spray guns are fantastic! Love the no oring design, less leakage and easy maintenance. The atomization is perfect for automotive painting. Highly recommend!
