Chinese Astronauts Meet in Space For The First Time!

According to the China Manned Space Engineering Office, the Shenzhou-15 astronaut group entered the orbital module from the re-entry module of the spacecraft after the manned spacecraft and the space station assembly successfully achieved autonomous rendezvous and docking. After all preparations were completed, at 7:33 PM on November 30, 2022 Beijing time, the long-awaited Shenzhou 14 astronaut crew successfully opened the "home" and warmly welcomed their relatives from afar to enter the "Heavenly Palace". Afterwards, the two astronauts of the "victory meeting" took a group, together in the Chinese people's own "space home" left a space photo enough to go down in history.

Later, the two crew members will perform the first in-orbit rotation at the space station. During that time, the six astronauts will work and live together on the space station for about five days to complete various tasks and handover work.

According to the China Manned Space Engineering Office, the Shenzhou-15 manned spacecraft successfully docked with the forward port of the space station and the core module at 5:42 PM Beijing time on November 30, 2022, a process that took about 6.5 hours.

According to the mission plan, the three astronauts will then enter the Tianhe Core module from the Shenzhou 15 manned spacecraft. The Shenzhou-14 crew has made preparations for the arrival of the Shenzhou-15 crew, which is the first time for Chinese astronauts to welcome a manned spacecraft from the space station.
