November 29, the World Cup Group H round 2, Portugal against Uruguay, the game in the 54th minute, B Fee cross, Ronaldo header, the ball into the net! FIFA's official website initially credited Ronaldo with the goal, but changed it to Fernandez minutes later.
Fernandez, who scored twice in the match, spoke to the media after the game.
Of the victory, he said, "We were able to do this because of the unity and mutual support of our entire team."
As for who scored the first goal, he said: "I celebrated it as if it was Ronaldo's goal and I was throwing it at him. But the result is the same. Usually it is more important for a striker to score but it is more important that we achieved our goal."
According to Kankan News, the pass probably wouldn't have been converted into a goal without Ronaldo's header that threatened the goalkeeper. So, whether Ronaldo touched the ball or not, the goal at least went in, and at the same time, it wouldn't have happened without Ronaldo.
