Guizhou Nucleic Acid Test Price Cut

On November 4, Guizhou Medical Security Bureau issued a notice to adjust the charging standard of the novel coronavirus nucleic acid testing project, reducing the charging standard of the novel coronavirus nucleic acid testing project: Since November 8 this year, disease control and testing institutions and public medical institutions have adjusted the maximum charging standard for a single single test of the novel coronavirus nucleic acid testing project to 14 yuan per person (including detection reagents); The maximum charge standard for multi-person mixed test (including mass screening and regular testing organized by the government) will be adjusted to 2.6 yuan per person (including testing reagents). In conducting nucleic acid testing services for COVID-19, CDC and public medical institutions should provide both single-person and multiple-person nucleic acid testing options, and allow people who are "willing to do all the tests" to voluntarily choose, provided that they comply with regulations on epidemic prevention and control. Pricing of COVID-19 testing services provided by non-public medical institutions and third-party testing institutions should be regulated by the market. The pricing should follow the principle of "fairness, legality and honesty", reflect the principle of maintaining capital with little profit and matching quality with price, and it is recommended to refer to the COVID-19 testing prices of public medical institutions.
