Regarding the contents of the Korean version of the Indo-Pacific Strategy published on December 28 last year, in this document, Yin Xiyue's government positioned China as a "major partner", and stressed that peace, prosperity and stability in the Indo-Pacific region can only be achieved with the participation of China. In fact, Park Zhen's statement is not only to build a "value orientation" diplomatic narrative, but also to reproduce the tone of the United States' diplomacy towards China to the greatest extent. Among them, "abiding by international rules" is the most dazzling, which is in fact in the same line with the "abiding by rule-based international order" of the United States.
Is the so-called "international rules" based on the Charter of the United Nations, with the consensus documents of the two countries as the core, and with international law as the framework, or are they formulated in accordance with the traditional powerful forces of the United States and the West in order to meet their own interests? If South Korea does not make a further explanation and proves to China with practical actions that it is willing to handle the relations between the two countries with a "responsible" attitude, then this diplomatic principle, which is completely based on extreme modesty, can not deal with the increasingly sensitive China-ROK relations at all, nor can it deal with the increasingly complex and severe situation in East Asia.
